So you want to know a little about me?
I'm flattered! I have anger issues, depression, anxiety, and a severe case of I'm-an-introvert-do-I-really-have-to-leave-the-house-for-this? I put the 'b' in LGBTQIA (although I prefer pansexual). And I'm bi-racial. I'm apparently full of bi-ness. I'm a huge book nerd and a gamer. I will read just about anything but my favorite genres are historical romance and all things zombies. I've played World of Warcraft for about a decade and I love playing the Sims. I'm horrible at Call of Duty but I play it anyway because it gives me an excuse to curse like a sailor.
Golden Girls will always be my favorite show. I'd say I'm 50% Dorothy and 50% Rose depending on the day. I have four cats and I am forever battling them for my hair ties, no matter how many proper cat toys they have, hair ties are the toy of choice. And cat fur... I am perpetually covered in it.
I watch way too much reality tv and I'm okay with that, we all need our not-so-guilty pleasures.
In the DC vs Marvel war, I will always choose Marvel. My favorite movie is the Avengers: Age of Ultron and the Hulk is my favorite character. I identify with the whole hulking out with anger and yearning for control.
I think I'm a pretty funny person, I don't know how other people feel about it but I think I'm hilarious. The way to my heart is a wicked sense of humor. Laughter is my medicine.
I've worked really hard to work on my issues, to find balance, and to be the happiest person I can be and if I do say so myself I'm not doing a bad job.
I'm really passionate about encouraging people to love themselves. Before I learned to love myself I was constantly depressed, I chose destructive relationships, and I had no drive. Learning to love myself, figuring myself out, and falling in love with my body and my personality completely turned my life upside down.
I've created this online resource for all things self-care, self-love, body love, depression/anxiety relief, spirituality and more. I want to share the love.
There is no greater tool for transformation than deciding that it's time to start loving yourself.

I want this space to encourage you and inspire you to forge your own path, to discover your own way to happiness and to live an amazing life. I want to help you get to know yourself, really know yourself and to fall in love with the person that you find there.
If you deal with depression and anxiety I want to show you what works for me and maybe it will work for you too. Combine my tips with what the professionals say and let's see if it makes a difference. At the end of the day whether it comes to self care or anxiety we're all different in what works for us, what makes us feel good, and what nourishes our soul. I think that's great. It means we all have a different experience that we can share with one another.
