11/7 Things I’m Grateful For

I’m going to make today’s blog post short and sweet, since it’s #ThankfulThursday, I want to say a few things that I’m grateful for! First and foremost would be my wife, Megan. She’s an amazing partner and an amazing person and she adds a brightness to my life that has been missing for an incredibly long time. Windy Rainy Weather I think when I looked at the thermostat it said it was 58 degrees in here and I absolutely love it. My windows are open and I’m curled up with a blanket, that’s where you can find me most days. This is Us. Ever since my last relationship I’ve been a bit emotionally constipated. I used to be an incredibly emotional person but that relationship shamed it out of me. So in real-life situations, the tears don’t come easily. 34 Things I’d Tell My 24-Year-Old Self

My birthday is quickly approaching and I am so excited. For one, I’m going to be taking a mini-trip that’s going to involve staying in a hotel for the first time ever. We met in 2018 on a dating site and bonded over our love of the Golden Girls. Is there a better way to start a relationship? I don’t think so! It was meant to be. I had recently ended a very toxic relationship and I anticipated that I would be single for a while. I had to…

I can’t believe that this will be my 8th year in a row choosing a word-of-the-year. It’s so cool to be able to look back at each year and see where my mind was at and how that word led me to my next one. Gods, I love being a blogger. I have this documentation to this amazing journey that is life. There’s a spot in the 2019 Self-Love Workbook to document your word. Before I share with you my word for 2019 and what it means to me, let’s take a trip down memory lane.
