A year and a half ago I lost my mom to cancer. It was a time of intense emotions. As someone who suffers from anxiety and depression on an almost daily basis, my journey through grief was debilitating.
I shared quite often what I was going through on my blog and each time I would be asked to create a workbook similar to my Self-Love Workbook. My response was always – “eventually.” I didn’t feel ready to guide when I was still on the journey myself. I’m still there now. However, I’ve come to realize that I always will be - but I’ve learned some things I want to share with you.
That’s where Uncovering Grief: A Grief Workbook comes into play.
It’s everything that I’ve learned/felt/experienced translated in such a way that you will be guided through those things as well. I want to comfort. Provide coping skills. Encourage you to love yourself through the process.
It’s broken up into four main sections.
The Before: A section that focuses on memories, stories and the things that you love and adored about the person that you lost.
The In-between: A space to reflect and explore thoughts and feelings when someone you love is in critical care or dealing with a terminal diagnosis.
The Loss: Your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in the aftermath of your loss.
The After: When the dust has settled and your life is completely different and you have to acclimate to your new world and your new self.
