How I am honoring my word-of-the-year

As you know, for 2016 my word-of-the-year is Mend. 2015 was a rough year for me and I find myself needing the three “R”s – Rest, Relaxation, and Recuperation, on an emotional level but also on a physical one. Stress and anxiety can take a lot out of a person emotionally but it can also cause a lot of health issues. My 2016 Anthem!

Every year I like to pick a theme song. I connect with music so deeply and I love those songs that get stuck, not just in your ear, but in part of your soul as well.
