Evening Inventory Printables

Do you ever have those days where you just can’t sleep? Your mind is on overdrive – looping over and over on something that you wish would just leave you alone so that you could get some much needed zzz’s? Yeah, me too. I’ve always found journaling to be one of the best forms of self-driven therapy (Check out my Journaling Workbook!). The act of creating space to get into my head, take an account of it, and write it down has always been incredibly soothing to me. It allows me to take all of that mental baggage and “move” it into a different container – paper.  The Evening Inventory worksheet allows you to take stock of your day and release the negative while also reminding yourself of the positive. Find Your Inner Safe Space

One thing that often happens when you don’t love yourself or when you have mental health issues is a constant yearning for a safe space. You want a place (often a person) where you feel loved. When you have anxiety or depression you want a place that makes you feel calm. So often we search for that outside of ourselves. Which isn’t always a bad thing – support systems are important. Breathe. Rest. Breathe Again.

I’m embracing the concept of rest and I’m feeling super mushy today. I want you to love you and I want me to love me. I want us all to just love each other because that’s a pretty amazing feeling. “Love is what we are; we don’t get it from somebody, we can’t give it to anybody, we can’t fall in it or fall out of it. Love is our true Being.” -Krishna Das Once we start feeling this way love stops being this selfishly horded commodity that we’re afraid to give away or afraid that we’ll never have enough of. I think that we should all strive to just be love. In those rare moments that we succeed, it’s a beautiful thing. Anyway, I’ve been writing in my Self Love Planner and I want to talk about a really important concept that maybe you aren’t too familiar with. Rest. It’s…
